As you can see, the rain moving inland today avoids Rosarito,
the area having a well known microclimate. A possible culprit
would be in the higher hills and mountains around Descanso
Bay, raise the atmospheric pressure sufficiently to displace
the incoming rain clouds away from our beaches j
In 2008, we had no overhead clouds from February to
December. I seem to remember one lonely cloud in September
when all were out of their houses pointing at the sky.
This weekend, the area should get drenched. I will keep
you posted for any new development...to see if my
theory still holds water.
